JOINTS 
We advise using grout joints ranging from 1/4” to 1/2" to accommodate inherent size variation of handmade tiles. Acceptable deviations of up to ± 1/4" are considered acceptable and expected for joint alignment variation and leveling.

Tiles with geometric lines require careful installation. Using spacers is essential for alignment, and we recommend larger joints to accommodate variations in the hand-screened lines. As these tiles are handcrafted, achieving perfect alignment can be difficult; larger joints can help, while smaller joints may accentuate discrepancies in symmetry.

Adding trim to your tile installation is like putting the cherry on top of a sundae - it's the finishing touch that makes everything come together!

Miter Cut:

While our clay tiles typically do not need to be sealed, we advise applying a protective sealant for tiles installed in wet areas such as shower surrounds, wet area flooring, and exterior applications.

Though not mandatory, sealant offers an additional layer of protection by sealing in the micropores of glazed clay tiles, ensuring your tiles remain in excellent condition over time.
